I was very confused by this book and I would not have it in my library. It was a really creepy book to me, with inmates and nuns and different things like that. I think it was supposed to be a jail but to me it looked like a concentration camp. I really did not like this book. Maybe there was a meaning behind it that I didn't pick up because I was just so confused.

    3. Sarah says:

I did not like this book at all. I wouldn't have in my classroom library or for my child at home. The pictures were really scary and the story was frightening. I'm not sure how it is considered a children's book.

    4. Erin says:

Cool illustrations, but a bit abstract.

    5. Wendy says:

I think I liked this book mostly because the ending was so surprising.
