Harriet Tubman for Beginners offers to those who do not know much about Harriet Tubman outside of her heroic acts of freeing bonded men and women, a connection to the past and a glimpse into the many roles Harriet Tubman had throughout her lifetime. Further, the book also questions our own roles in society today.
