    1. Lorraine Lesar says:

"or the leopard change his spots". (Jeremiah 13.23)Now E.D. Parr would strongly disagree with that, because her shifter leopard, Karl Oberon, wasn't the predatory beast that we would normally associate with leopards. He didn't go out and randomly hook up with unsuspecting prey and end up biting them in the throes of sexual passion, because that was what had happened to him! And now, keeping his secret in a city is hard, very hard, he's lonely and like all cats, craves to be touched and petted. C [...]

A Joyfully Jay review. 2.5 starsThis is the first book I’ve read by author E.D. Parr. Paranormal M/M shifter romance is usually a go-to read for me, which is why I chose it. Unfortunately, it didn’t hit the mark for me. The plot felt formulaic and lacked substance. Also, it seriously had some unsexy dialogue in the sexytimes. It read like 70s porn uttered by English learners.I’ll be honest, I think I might have liked this book better if there wasn’t a prologue that gave away Karl’s big [...]

    3. Liz ~ Liz's Reading Life says:

Liam works hard and hasn't had the time to find that special someone to spend his life with. He's had flings here and there but finding the one was put on the back burner. All that changes when Karl walks into his life.Liam is immediately taken with Karl's looks, but the more he gets to know him the deeper her falls. But Karl's secret threatens their budding relationship. So when the truth finally comes to light, will Liam walk away never looking back? Or will Liam accept Karl and all his surprisi [...]

    4. Qin says:

On so formulaic a subject matter, this long novelette could easily have been terrible, both in form and contents. To be sure, purple prose is not always avoided, especially when Karl and Liam meet for the second time at the gay bar and very nearly grope each other on the open, but the writing exhibits enough deftness and fluidity to make for a pleasant reading experience. Both characters are easy to love, especially Karl, they do not come together in a manner that reeks of literary artifice, and [...]

Oh, man every book I read by E.D. Parr just gets better and better. This one is no exception. I absolutely LOVED this story! The emotion, as well as the writing style, makes you feel as though the story could be true and those are of course the best kind. The world building is wonderful, the love scenes are intense and emotional, and the author keeps you on the edge of your seat until the final page. I love this type of story, and if you do too then you will not want to miss Blond by E.D. Parr!R [...]

      Just no depth.

    7. Meggie says:

Blah, the main story was way to shallow and undeveloped. Personally everything happened to fast. I was bored while reading this novella.
