mixed feelings regarding this "gay for you" romance between two best friendsI think my enjoyment of this book was immediately soured in the opening pages by the "moment of truth" between the couple, and I'm not sure it ever completely recovered.Let's break it down:Christian is the youngest brother in a gregarious family. He is gay, his family is completely unaware of his sexuality, and he is hopelessly in love with his straight best friend Shea.Shea is an orphan, he lost his entire family in a h [...]

3 stars!I love to read good M/M romance and after reading description of this one I was so sure it will be one more great one. It sound like a interesting and new book, so why not? Oh, how much wanted it to be so good. And I am sorry to say, but - no. It didn't happen.I will accept that maybe I would enjoy this book more if I read first three parts, about Christian brothers. The characters were okay. Story was okay. Love was okay. Writing was okay. And everything else was JUST OKAY.And I want mor [...]

1.5 stars. So, I'll start with the positive. This is the final book in a four-book series, and the prior three (which I did not read) were m/f romances featuring three brothers in the Beck family. The fourth novel features Christian, the baby of the family, who is gay and in love with his best friend, Shea. It is heartening that the author chose to weave the story of a gay brother into a series romance that was otherwise all het -- I think that technique offers interesting possibilities for openi [...]

OMG, my fellow readers of m/mn't do it. Put the book down. It was so wrong!! So very many things were just squicky, icky. Christian is in love with his bff Shea. He tells him and can't be around him anymore because it hurts. But wait, Shea decides he'll just be Chris's boyfriend so he won't leave. Not gay, never been gay but apparently he is now! They get into a fight and Chris tells him it's over and that Shea's only with him because he doesn't want to lose his friend so what does Shea do? He o [...]

    5. Mandapanda says:

This is book 4 in a series that is otherwise about m/f couples. The premise is silly (even slightly offensive). The writing style is basic, OTT, and full of cliches and bewildering personality shifts. The author approaches m/m romance without even the slightest attempt at credibility. I have trouble believing they've ever spoken to a gay person. But this unrealistic erotica style is popular with some and if you like authors like Sandrine Gasq-Dion you might enjoy this book.

Christian (Beck Brothers # 4) is a fantastic end to a great series. I's the icing on the cake. The cherry on your ice cream sundae. Having Xmas, Easter and your birthday all rolled into one. I give this book an amazing 5 CANNONBECK ★★★★★.This book is about Christian the youngest brother. He's different then the others just as hot as more of a creative side though. He paints and he sings. He has been friends with his best friend Shea for at least 20 odd years and well the inevitable hap [...]

THE BEST BOOK/BROTHER out of the 4 books!!!!Christians book is emotional, raw & powerful but ohhhh sooooo passionate & HOT!!! Phewokin hot!!Im really sad that these Brothers stories have come to an end but wow what an end.The epilogue was wonderful from Annes POV.The whole series was amazing & i will be re-reading these in the future over & over again.Awesome job Andria Large on The Beck Brothers :)

    8. Lucia says:

I don't even know where to begin. I guess I should first preface by saying that of the four Beck Brothers books, "Christian" has the strongest sexual content and if you are unable to handle homosexual sexuality, then you may find this a difficult book to read. BUT I strongly encourage you to read this final installment. The tale of the Beck Brothers would not be complete without it.With that being said, you cannot help but to fall in love with Christian and Shea. Their story is one for the ages. [...]

Letting go of The Beck Brothers and this series breaks my heart. It started with Henry, hooked me completely, ended with Christian, and I fell in love with this family a little more with each book. Each brothers story was different, and the writing and story lines as each book was released, kept getting better and better. Christians story found me in tears more than the others. Shea and ChristianI absolutely LOVED their journey. I loved the surprises that I didn't see coming as I read. I (of cou [...]

this book was my very first MM/gay read. yay congrats on popping the gay book cherry. The reason I read this though is cause I really loved this series, I always re-read everyone else's book except for Christian's. Well I finally decided to read it, and didn't regret. The Beck family is still one of my top favorite family series to read.I love the light humor in this, and the non-free drama from everything. This is the series I come to when I'm bored, and need a "no buying books, cause I'm broke" d [...]

5 Endless Stars!Just finished it. Gosh I loved it. Like the other three books of course. What a great way to finish the series. I don't have much to say. Well, it was the first gay story I actually read and I have to say It was hot! Like really hot! I think the story was amazing. Funny, cute, heartbreaking at moments, hot and really touching. And I have to say, it actually brought me tears so keep a box of tissues, just in case. And Christian and Shea was such a cute couple. I really, really lik [...]

    14. Carole Ann says:

This was my first M/M book. I really enjoyed this read. I haven't read any of the others in this series, but Christian was Hot, and so was his story. I understood Christian's fear to out himself to his family and felt connected with Heroes.

    15. Ashley says:

So, I don't want to be harsh on any book an author offers for free, but I will say this one wasn't for me. I'm sad bc I LOVE. A good M/M romance. In my opinion this one has the bud of promise but could truly have benefitted from more Betas and/or editors.

    16. Kikirocks says:

I read two pages and was done Most ridiculous plot EVER !!!! Seriously, I have no words for how f***ing silly it is!

One Four Three, Andria Large for giving us this wonderful series!I totally loved all the beautiful Beck brothers and fell for each of them when i read there books but ive got to say Christian is my favorite, he and Shea are just the best couple. The connection between christian and Shea is just so genuine and beautiful, they had a great friendship before they became lovers so they already had a good base to start from. The sex scenes are beautifully written, they are passionate and sexy as hell.I [...]

2.5 StarsThis is hard for me to rate. If you read my review foryou noticed that I am almost strictly a M/M reader. At almost 700 a year I think I'm quite familiar with the genre ;)Yeah, this GFY you didn't work.Blackmail relationshipsgotta love them. *sarcasm*The first penetration scene and they are using spit and no condoms. SERIOUSLY?! Nope. NEXT! There wasn't even talk about condoms and Christian wasn't a virgin. In the end though, I ended up believing Shea really did love Christian, blackmail [...]

    19. Sandra says:

I'll start by saying that while I'm no expert, in my opinion, much better M/M books have been written. In fact, much better books have been written, including books written by this author. I don't know what happened here but I didn't like the way it was written (can I use the word written too many times)The brothers were mean and hurtful and I sincerely hope they were much nicer characters in their own books.I don't recall reading the other books in this series and seeing how the brothers acted [...]

    20. Julia says:

No rating. I haven't read the previous three book in this series and I think that majorly hampered my ability to rate it fairly. Although this can be read as a stand alone, you miss out on the relationship building that has already happened between Christian and Shea. As a result, things seem very sudden and Shea's quick 'ok, I'll try to be gay for you' response seems to come out of left field and was completely ludicrous. There were several other things that just felt like too big of a coincide [...]

    21. Meags says:

4 StarsPerfect ending to a highly enjoyable series! I cried hard and laughed even harder. It's a rare thing to be so satisfied with the final book in a series. The Beck Brothers will stay with me for a long time to come and may just reign supreme when it comes to book families! I said in my book two review that I couldn't choose a favourite sibling because they were all so fantastic, and they are, but let's be honest, Sebastian stole the whole damn show! So very satisfied!!!

    22. Janie says:

Truly a great book. I loved that Shea loved his best friend enough to go from being "straight" to in a gay relationship because he would do anything not to lose Christian. I loved all the brothers as well, they were essential to this story. The ending was incredible and I loved that it told about all the families.

    23. Donna Porter says:

This book was okay. The story was good and I enjoyed Chritian and Shea, but I am not too much into men with men. That didn't deter me from reading this because I loved the Beck Brothers series, I just thought it went into to much graphics on their sex lives. If that doesn't bother you I know you will find this a good read

    24. Denise says:

I really enjoy the last book but all good things have to come to end wow this book had OMG events in it . Love the series looking forward to reading the next new series

    25. Laura's Book Addiction says:

      Love this series!!!

    28. Ismahane says:

      the perfect ending

    29. Raj says:

I usually avoid books that showcase characters from previous books.Firstly they tend to disappoint by corrupting a perfectly ended story line and secondly they crowd the book to such an extent that the main players are overwhelmed and relegated to the shadows.Fortunately that's not the case here and the book reads just the right side of sappy. All that is required is that you suspend all belief as you follow one man's quest to secure the affections of his best friend in a GFY tale.

    30. Brandi says:

LOVE Christian, LOVE Shea and LOVE them together! A beautiful story and a fabulous ending *pulls out Kleenex* to the Beck Brothers series!!I have to start off by saying this Shea is pretty damn amazing and a quick study. His willingness to immediately put the brakes on everything else and agree to be Christian's boyfriend just W.O.W! I mean, I realize he had told Christian he was the only guy he's ever found attractive but that is a HUGE change from dating only women prior to now. This is a chan [...]
