I am eight years old.My mother did not think I could read it all,but I did.I liked how she explained incarnations. She tells that the main character changes in each lifetime. The main idea of the book is very strong. My favorite characters are Damon,Shisa,Sephroy, and Flora. There are very strong characters. This is a beautiful story, because it shows how Damon changes from a follower to a leader.

Yo, Eleni, it's me! what, you ain't 'mmember me? it's me T. from ya 3rrrd incarnation, 'mmember, yea you promised to give me all yo money next lifetime we met! hehehehe.Yo, lemme holla at you a minute babygurl. i peeped your shit on netgalley, and i was like that shit look sick, i'mma get it. but it ain't come when i clicked it. but you know me, i ain't about to give up jus 'cos it ain't come the first tyme, so i clicked that shit again. uknoamsayin'.And i can't lie, you did your thing man, you [...]

    3. Tahlia Newland says:

This is a book that should have been interesting but was, in fact, simply confusing. The idea behind it was good. If I interpreted it correctly, the author was interested in exploring the concept of multiple incarnations in which a person dealt with the same problems and incarnations of the same people but in different ways each time. It's a concept worth exploring but one that perhaps may have been better explored within our world because the fantasy world added another layer of complexity and [...]

    4. Victor Smith says:

Eleni Papanou’s Unison (The Spheral) is an elaborate concatenation, usually elegant, in places difficult and disturbing, of metaphysical, psychological, science fiction and visionary elements blended to present a hero’s epic quest to overthrow an autocratic mind-controlled society, called Unity, which he was instrumental in creating in the first place after a Great Cataclysm befell Earth as we know it. A sort of Groundhog Day (the movie with Bill Murray) in the far future, only the dayis a l [...]

    5. Saleena Karim says:

This novel reminded me simultaneously of two movies: Groundhog Day and Equilibrium. Damon lives in a future world where Unity (his hometown) appears utopian at first glance, but which is in fact enslaved under an authoritarian regime that is systematically lying to its citizens about the supposed dangers of the world beyond Unity's dome. Damon gradually discovers the truth over a number of lifetimes, but unlike most stories involving reincarnation, he is reliving the same life over and over. And [...]

    6. Margaret Duarte says:

Unison is an excellent example of the genre of visionary fiction. It makes reincarnation and an afterlife seem plausible, that maybe we have additional chances to get it right.
