    1. D351 says:

Briefly and inadequately touching upon some very interesting subjects, PSIence is a poor mixture of amateurish writing, legitimate scientific research, and unfounded unscientific conjecture to ineffectively connect said research to the paranormal. Like so many books in recent years, it follows this logic; "Quantum Physics/String Theory/etc. says anything is possible; Therefore, psychic/magick/ghost stuff is possible; Therefore Quantum Physics/String Theory/etc. proves the existence of psychic/ma [...]

    3. Julie says:

Honestly, this book perplexes me. I've never been so torn on how I feel regarding a book before. At times, the book is disorganized and sensationalistic, while at other times, it's scientific and intriguing. There are multiple editing and spelling errors, and all in all, out feels like am extra long literary review for a graduate thesis.

    4. Sara Harrison says:

I am a huge fan of Marie Jones, and this book is an excellent introduction to her work, if you are not already familiar with it. What makes this book so enjoyable is how she is able to make complex ideas, such as theories in quantum physics, simple enough for the average person to comprehend. But this is never all she does--she also connects the science with aspects of paranormal phenomenon in logical, believable ways. Her book makes an excellent companion read for other books in the same area, [...]

    5. Dyah Rinni says:

    6. Marcha Fox says:

Excellent and very complete book on the various topics that fall under the "psi" umbrella including UFOs, ghosts, energy vortices, ESP, quantum physics, the Zero Point Field, other dimensions, consciousness and so forth. The author did a fantastic job of summarizing the numerous researchers' findings in their respective fields. It was intelligently written with a humorous, conversational style that was easy to understand. Whether you're just getting into these type of phenomena or a seasoned vet [...]

    8. Buck says:

This is one of those pseudo-science books that misreads complex research for the purpose of packaging it to support bizarre paranormal ideas. It's typical of the "scientific" paranormal approach that seeks to dazzle with buzzwords from science articles but in the end perpetrates the same superstitions that have existed for millenia.

    9. Kathie says:

I learned a lot!!! I just don't know where to start. Jones has a unique voice and an ability to connect with the reader. She writes about complicated things but in a way that makes the subject very clear and obtainable. She is able to break down subjects and "translate" the scientific language into everyday language. She's also very funny!

    10. E.v. Sage says:

If you have an open mind and enjoy thinking about the seemingly unexplainable, we should be friends! Oh, and you should read this book too. This book has provided me with years worth of material for my own personal 'what if' games.

    11. Krista says:

The premise sounded cool but there really wasn't much information on the science. A lot of talk about how things might connect without delving into the actual possibilities on a tangible level. I was disappointed to say the least.

    12. Michele says:

Love this book. Only book I have run across that explains Quantum Physics in a way that I understand.

    13. Elizabeth Clark says:

      Interesting ideas!
